This project collects four of my card location routines, all designed to fool magicians.

How do you secretly track a spectator's selections? In this collection, you'll learn a variety of uncommon location methods and principles.

Best of all, they're almost entirely self-working card tricks.

■ Three Stacks Of Cards:

The spectator cuts the deck into three packets, shuffles freely, and remembers a card with no key card involved. Even so, the magician accurately locates all three selections.

■ No-Stack Intuition:

A progressive card location routine. The spectator begins with a riffle shuffle to thoroughly mix the deck, then cuts two packets, remembers the cut-to cards, and shuffles again, leaving no key card. The magician first locates one selection, then instantly senses the position of the second without looking at the faces.

■ Locate Game:

The spectator begins with a riffle shuffle, cuts the deck into three packets, and remembers a cut-to card after the deck has been thoroughly mixed. They then riffle shuffle again. Even under these conditions, the magician precisely locates both selections.

■ Real-Time Positioning:

The most advanced routine in the project. A completely impromptu two-card location that can be performed with any borrowed, shuffled deck. The spectator cuts the deck, a second spectator calls stop during the deal, both spectators shuffle their own packets, remember a card, and return it to their packets. Despite these impossible conditions, the magician accurately locates both selections.
