In July 2025, we lost a true shining light in the world of magic: Wayne Dobson. Wayne not only defined an era of television magic but also created timeless routines and helped advance the art of magic over many years. His passing was deeply felt by all of us here at Alakazam.
At Unlimited, we believe in honouring the memories of the great talents who paved the way for us all. In late 2024 and early 2025, we had the privilege of speaking with both Wayne and Mike, and with their kind permission, we are proud to share some of Wayne’s incredible magic with our current members and future generations.
With the generous support of the late Wayne Dobson and his dear friend Mike Sullivan, we have already made much of Wayne’s TV work available in the Theatre. And today, we are honoured to present Stand Up Dobson, a collection of his most beloved routines. These are the performances that helped launch and shape his extraordinary career.
