The late, great Thom Peterson was an extraordinary performer and a brilliant creative mind, someone Alakazam were truly fortunate to collaborate with. By showcasing his magic, we hope to introduce his remarkable work to a new generation of magicians and ensure that his legacy continues to inspire for years to come. Thom has a spectator freely choose and sign a card before losing it back in the deck. After several deliberately failed and increasingly ridiculous attempts to find it, he places the deck inside an ordinary paper bag, mixes the cards without touching them, and blindly stabs through the bag with a letter opener. When he pulls out the single impaled card, it is impossibly the spectator’s signed selection.
