Rus Andrews – Glimmer

INTRODUCTION Firstly thank you for discovering my work and for taking an interest in my ideas and thinking. Welcome to GLIMMER, this has been something I have picked up and put back down due to other projects etc etc and has been left on the back burner for to long. When I first created this effect I performed it constantly as the reactions that came from the revelation just stunned laymen and magicians. I scraped through many crazy methods in the darkest parts of my mind to create something that was quick, simple, highly visual yet super clean. The interesting thing about glimmer is that the revelation happens mid effect, leaving the spectators brain to wonder and TRY and back track what just happened, the end of this effect is so clean that what they have just seen seems completely impossible. In this eBook I have included a couple of variations to suit both mentalists and magicians as I thought both styles could benefit from an effect like this. Id like to say a special thanks to Mike Danata for the inspiration to this effect, it was something he mentioned to me that sparked a little bit of madness in my mind to create this.
