The spectator cuts a deck of ESP cards as many times as desired. The performer then removes five different symbols from the deck. He shuffles this small packet slightly before placing it in front of the spectator. As he does so, he explains that numbers follow us throughout life, marking every step of our fate.
To illustrate, he points to five dice on the table and asks the spectator to choose any number of them. The chosen dice are rolled, and their total becomes a number – for example, 15. The spectator takes the packet in front of him and moves the top card to the bottom repeatedly until reaching his number. The card at that position is placed in the center of the table.
At this moment, the performer announces that he also has a number. He removes a card from an envelope – in full view from the start – on which three dice have been drawn. The total of these dice – for example, 10 – is used to count down from the top of the deck. The performer places this card on top of the spectator's selection.
Although the two numbers differ, the performer notes that two fates can meet and follow the same path. Both cards are turned face-up – and they match perfectly.
Easy to do. A different number and a different symbol every time. The cards are not marked. The dice are regular. Bonus effect: The card at the spectator's chosen number in the deck matches the symbol predicted by the performer. Two versions.
