A very direct ACAAN. The spectator freely cuts off a packet, notes the bottom card, then replaces it anywhere in the middle of the deck—both cuts done by the spectator. The magician attempts to cut to the selection three times but misses. Just when it seems to fail, the total of the three cut cards equals the final position of the selection.
