"A.C.C.A.A.N." (Arbitrarily Chosen Card At No Number) is an amazing MENTALISM effect, in which the magician, after producing a deck of cards, asks a randomly selected spectator just to think of one card, creating it in his mind piece by piece: first he imagines its color, then its suit, and finally its value.

He will then invite the spectator—after revealing for the first time the card he is thinking of—to guess which position in the deck it occupies, from 1 to 52! If the first attempt fails, he can try again more times, always in vain and with increasingly higher numbers, until, beginning to suspect something, he realizes that there are only 51 cards in the deck and the card he is thinking of is missing…
