The spectator takes a pack of 8 cards, which they deal down into 2 piles, and chooses which one comes on top.
They can do it as many times as they like. Now they deal the pack into 4 pairs, each pair have 2 cards. They flip the pair and add the value of the 2 cards together, and see in the list, which will match the total number which matches the total number.
